Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club- Leesburg, VA

I have a love hate relationship with Raspberry Falls. When it is good, it is very, very good. When it is bad, it is awful, and still expensive. A beautiful 1996 Gary Player design, located on a former Raspberry farm with views of the Catoctin Mountains, it has the potential to be amazing. There are stunning elevated tee shots, rolling hills, and interesting holes.

That said, there are also frequent condition problems. It can be swampy at times, and it can be burnt out at times. It can be in all around horrible condition, with no price reduction offered- and it is not a cheap course. So, proceed with caution, read recent reviews, and know there is a chance you will regret your round. There is also a chance it will be fabulous, which will probably keep you coming back, regardless.
