Skaneateles Architecture Gallery

Skaneateles may just be the quaintest town in America. Situated on a stunning lake, and largely built in the 19th century, its historic district is outstanding. A parade of photogenic homes will impress anyone with the slightest interest in architecture. For fanatics, its an absolute wonderland of Greek Revivals, Federal, Italianates and Romanesque revivals. Even the municipal buildings are jaw dropping. Delightfully Victorian, it is certainly a town you will never forget.
