Greenhill Winery & Vineyards- Middleburg, VA

There are a LOT of wineries in Northern Virginia these days. It seems if you offer city dwellers a place to bring their dogs, they will come, regardless of the product. Indeed, there are many lovely tasting rooms with lackluster wines out there, but Greenhill is not one of them. 

Not that their tasting room isn’t lovely- it is. They also have a stunning spot, overlooking the distant Blue Ridge Mountains, and is blessedly adult only, which is exceedingly rare. Most importantly, the wine is pretty tasty, including their Blanc de Blancs, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot.
